Terms of Service
Last updated: May 27, 2026
These terms describe how Edhanta subscriptions and content access work. By using our platform, you agree to these conditions designed to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Subscription terms and manual renewal
All subscriptions are annual (365 days from the date of purchase) and billed upfront as prepaid access. Subscriptions DO NOT renew automatically. To retain access after the 365-day period, you must manually purchase a renewal subscription. Academic offerings that are disabled or modified by the administration only affect new purchases, and will not affect or restrict active paid subscriptions until their pre-paid expiry date. We reserve the right to revise pricing for future manual purchases with 30 days' notice.
No-refund policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and non-transferable. Once paid, no refunds will be issued for partial usage of the subscription term, early termination, or non-utilisation of platform features. This policy applies to all Edhanta subscription plans — current pricing is always shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout before any payment is made. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis under applicable Indian consumer protection laws for documented technical failures that prevented platform access for more than seven consecutive days, with refund requests reviewed within 5–7 business days.
Payment safety and processing
Payments are securely processed through Razorpay. Edhanta delegates all financial transactions to Razorpay and does not store or process your credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, or wallet credentials. Any payment issues or transaction disputes must be addressed under our Payment Policy, and verified using the unique Razorpay transaction IDs.
Acceptable Use and Community Guidelines
You agree to use Edhanta solely for personal, educational purposes. You must not: (a) upload, transmit, or share any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or otherwise unlawful, (b) attempt to cheat, manipulate, or gain unauthorized access to any quizzes, practice tests, or platform metrics, (c) send spam or unsolicited messages to mentors, teachers, or other users, (d) attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform infrastructure, or (e) share your account credentials or parent PIN with any third party. Edhanta reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice or refund.
Mentor-student code of conduct
Every mentor and student on Edhanta agrees to: (a) maintain professional, respectful communication at all times, (b) use the platform exclusively for academic purposes, (c) refrain from sharing personal contact information (phone, WhatsApp, social media) outside the platform, (d) report any inappropriate behaviour immediately to support@edhanta.com, (e) attend scheduled mentor sessions on time or provide 24-hour advance notice for rescheduling, and (f) not record, screenshot, or redistribute mentor sessions without explicit written consent. Violation of this code may result in suspension of mentor privileges or student account termination.

Parents are responsible for monitoring their child's platform usage and ensuring appropriate boundaries. Students under 18 must have parent/guardian consent to use the platform. You agree to notify us immediately at security@edhanta.com of any unauthorised use of your account or breach of security.
Data protection and erasure requests
In compliance with the DPDP Act 2023, you can request correction or deletion of your personal and academic data at any time via the Settings page or by emailing support@edhanta.com. We will erase all non-transactional personal data within 30 days of receiving a verified deletion request. Financial records of transactions will be retained as required by Indian tax laws.
